3 days ago, l was at a motel. l left my Blackberry on the floor

opened the shower curtain and and the bathroom floor covered in a bit of

water (it was not much, really) and l left my Blackberry on the floor. It
worked as good as it had before. l checked all buttons, all ports
(charging area, headphone ports) and all, and it all seemed to be working
good. It was lying screen up when it got wet. l never removed the battery
or turned the device off (again, l did not know what l was thinking)
because l entered a panic mode. l removed the battery about 3 hours ago,
and on the bottom of it was a little sticker that is pink with just a bold
horizontal red line on it. Ive read up on something about a red sticker if
it got wet, but l never really payed attention to the sticker it until
now. And l do not really understand it.
Its 3 days later, and
the device seems to be working perfectly.
What does the
sticker mean? Is it something l should be worrying about?

The sticker is used by the company to tell weather or not the

phone got wet, you are no longer able to use any of the phones warranties

at all. Basically you voided out the warranty by getting it wet.

What may have been good is for you to do if ur phone gets wet again is to

take out the battery & cover & place all pieces into a bowl of dry rice
completely covered so the rice will absorb the water from ur phone.
Don't worry if ur phone still works & everything, I hope you have
insurance on it however. But the only thing that little sticker is for is
to prove that ur phone got wet & voids all warranties.
